About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that align with business and technical requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and solution architects to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable applications and automations within the ServiceNow platform. This role will also provide tier-3 operational support for ServiceNow applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Review technical requirements and ensure alignment with business needs, standards, and policies.
- Stay updated on emerging ServiceNow trends and recommend improvements to support the company’s roadmap.
Development & Customization
- Design, implement, test, and document custom applications, automations, and integrations on ServiceNow.
-Develop and enhance:
- Service Catalog Items
- Scoped Applications
- Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- CMDB, Incident, Problem & Knowledge Management
- Service Portal
Operational
- Provide operational support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Create work breakdown structures and sequencing for technical activities.
- Participate in code reviews, standards development, and roadmap discussions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a programmer/developer, with a strong focus on ServiceNow development.
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD) preferred.
Professional Skills
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication (technical and non-technical).
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and solve problems independently.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical Skills
Proven experience in ServiceNow Service Catalog development and administration.
Strong knowledge of ITSM/ITIL practices.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with authentication frameworks (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT).
Strong understanding of relational databases and operating systems.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and Pipelines.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Databases and SSIS.
Exposure to Azure and .NET Core 8 is an asset.
