About the Role

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Project Manager to lead high-visibility, complex Salesforce and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, political acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in Agile, Lean-Agile, and hybrid delivery environments. You will manage multiple teams, align diverse stakeholders, and ensure delivery of high business value while adhering to PMO and Center of Excellence (CoE) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Project & Delivery Leadership:
Lead end-to-end project management activities for complex Salesforce and digital transformation initiatives, including strategic and high-visibility mandates.
Manage multiple delivery teams or large cross-functional teams on major programs with executive-level visibility.
Adapt delivery approaches across Agile, SAFe, Lean-Agile, and hybrid models, including collaboration with external vendors and system integrators.
Provide leadership to rally teams around a shared vision, clear objectives, and measurable outcomes.

Planning, Governance & Execution:
Organize, synchronize, and facilitate planning, execution, review, and feedback ceremonies across multiple stakeholders, departments, locations, and suppliers.
Establish and maintain project plans, timelines, resource forecasts, and cost estimates, including change management and specialist contributions.
Ensure adherence to aPMO standards, Program Manager directives, and CoE best practices; actively promote these practices across teams and stakeholders.
Oversee the delivery of secure, scalable, compliant Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Work closely with internal partners, business leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, performance analysts, IT Portfolio Managers, and Program Managers.
Manage service agreements and relationships with external suppliers and partners when required.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations, and deliver incremental business value per PI (Program Increment).

Risk, Issue & Change Management:
Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments impacting delivery.
Build and execute mitigation and action plans to address delivery challenges.
Navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements, bringing structure and momentum to complex initiatives.

Reporting & Communication:
Provide transparent, regular, and executive-ready reporting on:
Scope, assumptions, value delivered, timelines, costs, quality
Risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits realization
Present a consolidated view of progress with clear recommendations and a strong sense of urgency when required.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement:
Act as a role model and coach, supporting the development of less experienced project managers and delivery leads.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO and delivery practice.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
Demonstrated transformational leadership, particularly in ambiguous or evolving environments.
Proven ability to align diverse stakeholders around a common vision and manage competing priorities.
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset.
Experience using enterprise planning and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
French (written and conversational) is an asset.
Recognized by peers as a positive and credible leader.
Strong track record of successful, measurable project outcomes.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and coaching others.

Assets & Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Salesforce CRM, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft integrations.
Experience in Insurance and/or Financial Services industries.

Certifications (one or more preferred):
PMI-ACP
Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or higher)
SAFeĀ® RTE
PMP
