About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Consultant to design, develop, and deliver scalable technical solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem. In this role, you will transform business requirements into secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions while driving integrations, customizations, and technical best practices across D365 F&O implementations.
You will collaborate closely with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that support business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and extend D365 F&O solutions using X++, MorphX, .NET, and Visual Studio
- Build and support integrations between D365 F&O and external systems using Azure services, REST APIs, - - Dual-write, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Azure Data Factory
- Develop and manage custom data entities, data migration processes, and reporting solutions
- Implement and maintain extensions following Microsoft best practices and upgrade-safe development standards
- Manage code deployments, builds, release pipelines, and environment lifecycle using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments
- Optimize application performance and ensure solution reliability and maintainability
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions
- Support testing, deployment, and production stabilization activities
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on technical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
Proven experience delivering end-to-end D365 F&O implementation and customization projects
Strong expertise in X++ development, MorphX, Visual Studio, and SQL Server
Experience developing customizations, extensions, workflows, services, and integrations in D365 F&O
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Dual-write, APIs, and middleware integrations
Experience working with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft integration services
Strong understanding of Data Management Framework (DMF)Â and data entities
Experience managing source control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments using Azure DevOps
Knowledge of security roles, permissions, and D365 F&O environment management
