About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling, analytics, and business intelligence (BI) best practices to transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build and optimize data models to support scalable analytics and reporting.
- Apply BI best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and define business requirements.
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions and visual insights.
- Analyze data trends to make recommendations that support business objectives.
- Continuously improve dashboard design and user experience using the latest BI tools and trends.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills for data analysis, transformation, and reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of other BI tools or cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake) is an asset.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in data analysis and BI development.
Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query).
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Pivot).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages is a plus.
